Nerja

Nerja is a charming coastal town on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, known for its beautiful beaches, dramatic cliffs, and the famous Balcón de Europa viewpoint. Every Tuesday all year round, except on public holidays, there is a large and popular open-air market, located on Calle Mirto in the Urbanización Almijara. A real meeting place for both residents and tourists!


Cueva de Nerja is also one of the most spectacular caves in Spain.

Frigiliana

Frigiliana is a very beautiful and unique village located high on the ridge of the Sierra Almijara mountain range. Since the village is located 300 meters above sea level, you have an incredible panoramic view of Nerja and the Mediterranean Sea.

This whitewashed village has won awards as the “most beautiful village in Andalusia” by the Spanish tourism authority. 

The last week of August is celebrated Tres Culturas, the cultural festival, which is the biggest event in Frigiliana.

Malaga

Malaga is known for its rich history, culture, gastronomy and beautiful beaches. Málaga is also the birthplace of Picasso and has a vibrant nightlife and many historical attractions. Explore the city’s jewels – the Roman theatre and the Alcazaba fortress. This spectacular Moorish fortress-palace, built in the 11th century, is one of the best preserved monuments of its kind in Spain. 

Another ”must” to visit is the Picasso Museum – an unforgettable experience even for the non-art lover. Also, don’t miss the cozy bodega ”El Pimpi” and the Antigua Casa De Guardia, which is the oldest wine bar (1840) in Malaga.

Granada

The beautiful city of Granada perfectly blends Moorish heritage, Renaissance art, and vibrant Andalusian culture. At its heart stands the breathtaking Alhambra, a palace and fortress complex perched on a hill with stunning views over the city. Don’t miss the Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, where the Catholic Monarchs Isabella and Ferdinand are buried. Stroll through the Albaicín and Sacromonte districts — two of Granada’s most iconic neighborhoods, full of charm and history.

In the evening, experience traditional flamenco at the Templo del Flamenco, a hundred-year-old cave restaurant in the Albaicín. To unwind, visit Hammam Al Ándalus, the city’s famous Arab baths at the foot of the Alhambra — where warm waters and soothing massages transport you back to another era.

Ronda

Ronda is an ancient mountain town in Andalusia, Spain, known for its dramatic rock formations and historic bridges. The town is situated on a plateau divided by a deep ravine, El Tajo, through which the Guadalquivir River flows. Ronda is also known as the cradle of bullfighting and has the oldest bullring in Spain, the Plaza de Toros de Ronda.

Córdoba

Córdoba was founded by the Romans in the 1st century BC. The Cathedral-Mosque and the historic quarters around it are extremely unique. This is the city that has its roots from the Roman and Moorish era, and the three world religions coexist side by side in the city. The Cathedral-Mosque is listed as a World Heritage Site and is one of the most beautiful and unique buildings in the world. 

Something completely different, take the opportunity to stroll along the Calleja de las Flores, which is one of Córdoba’s most picturesque places. Hundreds of flowers give a sumptuous splendor to the whitewashed walls along the narrow alley.

Gibraltar

Gibraltar offers a captivating mix of natural beauty, rich history, and lively culture. Climb the iconic Rock of Gibraltar for breathtaking views, wander through centuries-old tunnels, or unwind on sun-kissed beaches — there’s something for everyone to enjoy. There is even the possibility to take a taxi tour across the natural reserve and over the Rock of Gibraltar.

Even though Gibraltar is located on the Iberian Peninsula it is British territory since the 18th century and a tax-free zone.
